The Affiliate Program allows you to place links to HealthInsurance.com on your website. By placing these links, visitors on your site have the opportunity to conveniently compare and select health insurance plans for themselves or their small businesses. If a completed application and a valid check are submitted by a user who accesses HealthInsurance.com through your website, we pay you a program fee of $25 per user.

Q: Why should I join HealthInsurance.com's Affiliate Program?
There are many reasons to join! Becoming an Affiliate is free, simple and profitable. As an Affiliate, you can add value to the content of your own site and let HealthInsurance.com handle the details.
Q: Does it cost me anything to become an Affiliate?
Absolutely not, it's free to join the HealthInsurance.com Affiliate Program.
Q: How do I sign up?
  1. Read the HealthInsurance.com Affiliate Program Agreement and then click on the "I Accept" button.
  2. Fill out a brief online application form, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your user name, password and detailed setup instructions. If your site doesn't qualify, you will also be notified by e-mail.
  3. Add the HealthInsurance.com logo link to your homepage and earn a program fee every time one of your website visitors signs up for health insurance. For more detailed linking information, go to reports.healthinsurance.com.
  4. Start earning revenue! Once your application has been approved and you have added links to HealthInsurance.com, you'll automatically be ready to begin earning revenue.
Q: How does the program work?
The Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring customers to our website. It's also an excellent way to enhance your site and offer more value to your customers.

Here's how it works:
You place HealthInsurance.com advertising and promotion links on your site. Every time a visitor referred from your site submits a completed application for health insurance, you earn a program fee of $25. We'll mail you a check on a monthly basis, provided that your Affiliate account has a balance of at least $100. If you only earn $25 the first month, this money is carried over until you earn a total of $100. It's that easy!
Q: Can a website outside the United States be an Affiliate?
Yes. We welcome Affiliates from anywhere in the world. However, HealthInsurance.com presently offers health insurance coverage only in the United States.
Q: I operate more than one website. Can I still be an Affiliate?
Yes. You can have multiple sites as an Affiliate. You can have one Affiliate account with us that will include all of your sites and allow you to track the progress of each site separately.
Q: Does my website qualify for the Affiliate Program?
Most websites will qualify to participate in the program. Anyone may submit an application, but we do reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem that it contains objectionable material. Some examples of sites that would NOT qualify for participation include:
  • Sites that promote violence
  • Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion,
    national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age
  • Sites that promote sexually explicit material
  • Sites that promote illegal activities
  • Sites that violate intellectual property rights
Q: What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate?
The only thing you are responsible for is using the tag generator on reports.healthinsurance.com to create and place links on your site. We handle everything else.
Q: What if the content of my website changes after I join the program?
If the subject matter or content of your site changes significantly, we will need to reevaluate your Affiliate membership. Please e-mail us at affiliates@healthinsurance.com to notify us of any major changes.
Q: I don't have a website. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately, no. In order for us to accept you as an Affiliate, we must be able to view your website.
Q: Can I participate in HealthInsurance.com's Affiliate Program if I am an affiliate with other sites?
Yes. If you are a member of the HealthInsurance.com's Affiliate Program, you may have links to other websites on your site, as long as the other links don't contain objectionable material.
Q: What if I am an Association or Licensed agent/broker?
If you are a trade or professional association or a licensed agent/broker, and offer substantial access to the small-business or individual health coverage marketplace through your customers/members, Healthinsurance.com may be able to offer you an expanded partnership with additional benefits. Q: How do I change my account information?
Once you have been accepted as an Affiliate, you will be given access to your account information on reports.healthinsurance.com. Your account information can be modified there.
Q: Will becoming an Affiliate increase traffic to my site?
Our Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program. It is not designed to help you increase traffic to your site. However, it will enhance your site with content, and provide a valuable service to your visitors, making it more likely that they will return.
Q: Should I mention my Affiliation with HealthInsurance.com on my website?
We encourage our Affiliates to download a HealthInsurance.com logo from our graphics and logos section at reports.healthinsurance.com to let your visitors know that your site is "in association with HealthInsurance.com." This allows you to add immediate brand recognition to your site.
Q: How do I create links?
We have an automatic tag generator on reports.healthinsurance.com that creates HTML which can easily be cut and pasted into your website. It's so easy to use that even beginners can create links in seconds.
Q: Where should I place the links on my site?
We highly recommend you put the links on your home page for best results! Other recommended areas include your navigation bar and other places where you get a high amount of traffic. If you place the links in an easily-accessible location, your visitors will be more likely to click on them.
Q: How often should I update my links?
You do not need to update links to our site. Your link will always go directly to HealthInsurance.com's home page.
Q: Can I use your content on my site?
No, you cannot use HealthInsurance.com's content on your site.
Q: How much can I earn?
We can't predict how much you'll earn from our Affiliate Program, as your earning potential is determined by the number of visitors to your website who submit both a completed application for health insurance and a valid check.
Q: How do I know how much money I've earned in program fees?
Through reports.healthinsurance.com, you can access your progress reports, which are updated daily. These reports provide information on click-throughs, submitted applications and program fees earned.
Q: How often do I get paid?
We will cut and mail you a check every month, provided your Affiliate account has a balance of at least $100. If you only earn $25 in a month, this money is carried over until you earn a total of $100.
Q: What about withdrawn or declined applications?
If an application is withdrawn or declined, your Affiliate account balance will be reduced by 90% of the program fee earned on that referral.
Q: Can I monitor my referrals?
Every HealthInsurance.com link that you place on your site contains a unique identifying number. That way, when a visitor comes to HealthInsurance.com through your site, we can credit you if they submit an application accompanied by a valid check. It's very important to create your links using the automatic HTML generator on reports.healthinsurance.com, so you can be properly credited for each submitted application. Q: How will you know that the applications came from my site?
All links from your site to our site contain a unique identifier, so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when an application is submitted. However, this is only possible if you create all of your links using the tag generator on reports.healthinsurance.com.
Q: How often can I run reports?
You can run reports daily if you wish. reports.healthinsurance.com, our reporting website, is regularly updated with the latest information about your site's referrals.
Q: I have more than one URL. Can I register both/all of them?
Yes. You have two options:
  1. You can have one account listing all of your URLs. Apply only once; then, after receiving your acceptance e-mail, you should contact affiliates@healthinsurance.com and provide the multiple URLs so we can add them as sub-sites to your master account. By doing this, each of your sites will be assigned a unique site ID so you can track the banner activity on each URL separately while still getting one commission check and logon.
  2. You can open a separate account for each URL (which means you have to submit an application for EACH URL). This option will provide you with a separate logon for each site you maintain. An Affiliate might choose this option if he or she would like to receive seperate checks for each URL.
